Thank you for choosing to serve at the 2017 Chick-fil-A Connect Race Series of Schertz, TX benefiting the Children's Hunger Fund, Steele High School Athletics and Clemens High School Athletics. Throughout the event, you will have the opportunity to build connections & relationships with participants & their families while serving in a significant Race Crew role.
Please fill out the form below to volunteer as a Race Crew member on event day.

Race Crew Information:

*The minimum age for volunteering is 15 years old.

Race Crew Descriptions:


Set-up volunteers arrive first (5:00AM) and assist event staff in staging the race. These tasks include: unloading and setting up equipment, preparing the finish line environment, and hanging banners. *15 setup volunteers needed

Parking & Greeting

Parking & greeting volunteers are the first people participants encounter. They direct vehicles to designated parking areas and spend time welcoming and directing runners before the race starts.


Registration volunteers register new participants and distribute runner bags as participants check-in before the race.

Family FunZone

Family FunZone volunteers manage and supervise the inflatables and various other Family FunZone activities.

Course Attendant

Course Attendants direct, protect, and encourage runners along the race course.

Hydration Station

Hydration Station volunteers setup water stations and hand out water to runners on the course.

Position Choices:

Please select your top three position choices. We will work to accommodate these choices first; however, there are certain positions that must be filled before others and may require more volunteers.

You will receive an email the week of the race with more information regarding check in, your race crew position, and important event details. On race day, please check-in at the Race Crew check-in tent before 6:00AM, and you will be dismissed after teardown no later than 11:30AM.
